Quips News · May 26 WPIAL & VNN Sports High School Senior Student Athlete Spotlight Series

Hundreds of thousands of High School student athletes have had their careers cut short due to the current shutdown of our Schools. VNN Sports and the WPIAL Athletic Directors wanted to give some of these Students added recognition as they get ready to move on to the next phase of their lives. Our senior Student Athlete spotlight series continues with Britney Wilson from West Allegheny:

West Allegheny Softball Catcher

Athletic Highlights: 3 time 5A WPIAL champion, 1st team All State and 1st team All Section catcher, Post-Gazette & Trib 5A Player of the Year

Other Sports/Activities: Travel Softball, Student Athletic Trainer, Girl’s Basketball Videographer

Academic Honors: National Honors Society, Class President 3 years, Student Ambassador, Homecoming Queen

Future Plans: Attend California University of PA to dual major in Economics and Accounting while continuing to play softball on academic and athletic scholarships
